Thank you for your interest in Escape From LA. We have put together some of the more common questions we get asked. Don’t see your question listed here? Not a problem – just call or email us and we’d be happy to help you out. We may even add your question to our FAQs for future visitors.

What options do I have to book?

You can always book on-line (using the “book today” feature) but:

1. if you do not have a credit card OR

2. everyone in the group wishes to pay separately OR

3. you have a special room request (for instance you have 10-12 in your group and wish to play both rooms at the same time) OR

4. you are requesting a booking time outside our regular hours…

…then please call. We will be happy to take care of your booking by phone!

How many players per game? Will you add strangers to my booking?

Depending on which room you have selected, we can accommodate between 2 and 10 players per room and we will never add anyone to your game. Whether you are looking forward to an evening with your family, spending time with your partner or surprising some friends from out of town, you won’t have to worry about playing with people you do not know.

How much does it cost to play?

Our pricing is designed to make playing affordable for everyone. The flat rate for all players is $20. Please look for our monthly and weekly discounts and promotions on facebook.

How early should we show up?

We are dedicated to making your escape experience the best it can be! As such, please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your booking, and no later than your scheduled booking time. This will allow us to set up your booking and provide you with a short de-brief about the experience. If you are more than 5 minutes late, please note that we may have to adjust the length of your experience accordingly.

What if I need to cancel a reservation?

Our preference if you must cancel is that you reschedule your booking to a different time. However, in the event that you are not able to do so, the following policy will apply:
If you wish to book multiple rooms for an event, we require a deposit equivalent to one full room’s payment. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made on the same day as your event. Should you give us 24-hour’s notice, you will receive a full refund.
If you wish to make a single room booking over the phone or have paid online, we require a credit card number to hold the room for you. In the event of a no-show or same day cancellation you will be charged a $40 base fee. If you give us 24 hour’s notice of your cancellation you will not be charged.

Is there an age limit?

Our escape rooms are perfect for families, birthday parties, couples and youth groups. For the best experience possible we ask youth teams between the ages of 11-14 play with at least one adult. Generally our 7-10 year olds play with their parents. Can you bring younger children? Absolutely! We have had many 4-7 year olds enjoy “teachable moments” not to mention the quality time with their families during games. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Do you take corporate bookings or private events?

Playing our escape rooms as a corporate team is an excellent way to have fun while building rapport, developing trust and fostering “outside of the box” thinking between co-workers. Consider us for your private work or leisure functions too! Weekdays or evenings (outside our posted calendar hours) are entirely possible.

Please call and we will assist you in arranging the best time to play. Further, if you have between 7 and 12 players, we will help coordinate the booking of both rooms so your teams can play at the same time. 

What are your hours?

Our posted booking hours have expanded!

We are now open 7 days a week for your convenience. Our hours are 1:00-9:00 Mondays and Tuesdays, 1:30-10:30 Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1-11 Fridays and Saturdays, and 11:30-9:30 Sundays. We will do our best to accommodate your experience outside those hours if that is what works best for you!
